Michael Rogan & Margaret Bohan, New Bedford, Massachusetts
I've read GenForum notes of Clem Rogan, Linda (Rogan) Fuller et al dated 1999 & 2000.
I'm interested in knowing what their final finding concerning Michael and Margaret were.I am currently working on a family history documeny for their descendants surviving in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
I would like to know in particular the date and place of death of Margaret (Bohan) Rogan.
My research suggests that Michael and Margaret's son Michael John Rogan immigrated to Canada about 1889,settling in Arnprior. In the 1911 Canadian Census for Arnprior, Ont.
I found Michael John Rogan's and Mary Ellen McHale's family.
Also the family of a Patrick Bohan.1911 Canada Census seems to be the first census Canada where they are listed.
My observation given the deaths of Michael Rogan Senior in 1875 and the death of his wife Margaret Bohan (around 1900?)
is that Michael John Rogan came to Canada around 15 years old and maybe at the same time that Patrick Bohan settled here in Arnprior. Can anyone tell me if Patrick Boan is a younger brother of Margaret Bohan?
