Rohde Fails to Respond When Rest of the Company Rush to
William Rohde of 2002 String street, a city fireman, returned from a fire yesterday morning with engine company No. 25, at 1975 Canalport avenue. He sat down and fell asleep. An alarm sounded and the men rushed to the engine. Rohde did not stir. Capt. E. M. Sweeney tired to awaken him and found he was dead.
Mrs. Sena Christensen of 2712 Drake avenue sat up with her sister, Mrs. Louise Nelson, and welcomed the new year in. At 10 o'clock yesterday morning she was found dead in bed.
