I have researched land holdings of Samuel Rohrer and his descendants near Rohrersville starting with Samuel's initial purchases in 1762 and tracing subsequent subdivisions via wills, etc. through two generations up to 1835.
This is the Samuel Rohrer we believe to be a son of Hans Michael Rohrer of Alsace and half brother of John Rohrer of Lancaster.
The paper also locates the "Piney Hills" property purchased by John of Lancaster in 1763.That property turns out to be directly adjacent to Samuel's property purchased a few months earlier in 1762.
My initial interest was in locating property of my own great great great grandfather, Jacob Rohrer, and relating it back to the property of his ancestors.(This Jacob is a son of John and grandson of Samuel; not to be confused with Samuel's son Jacob Sr. or his son Jacob Jr.)
