Regarding Kelly's earlier query, there was a William Roulston, probably a farmer, at Stranolar (spelling?) in co. Donegal. He had a son born 1833 but I don't have the wife's name and don't know whether this one emigrated. But he could be worth checking out. Dawn, you don't say whereabouts you think your William originated. There was a William Rolston, school teacher at Armagh. This undated info came to me in a letter, way back in 1986, so I don't have a reference. With his first wife he has children: Thomas William, John Charles, Edwin James, Margaret Elizabeth. His second wife was sister to the first, and by her he had children: Robert, Edward, Andrew Walter, Sarah. This would be a long shot for you, the names suggest probably late 19th C, but again, it may be worth checking out. Ken.
