Elizabeth Rose married Larkin Green of Hardwick, MA in 1756 in Northfield, MA. Two children are commonly reported, Thomas and Josiah. Larkin Green is in the 1790 and 1800 census in Hardwick, but then is gone.
I suspect they had another son, Ebenezer, in 1775, and moved to Northern Vermont just after 1800. Both Larkin and Ebenezer Green are in the census in Essex, VT in 1810, then Ruth and Ebenezer Green are in nearby Westford in 1820. She apparently is a subsequent wife of Larkin. Later Greens there married into my Kenfields.
The VT death record for Ebenezer gives his father as Larkin, and there does not seem to be any other matching combination. But I have not found a death record for Elizabeth (Rose) Green, nor a marriage record for Larkin and Ruth (possibly Morton). There could have been an additional wife in between, given the gap between Josiah (1758) and Ebenezer. Nor have I found an indication that the MA Larkin moved north, nor a birth record for Ebenezer.
Can anyone add anything to what I have, or disprove my suspicion that this is the right couple?
