Mrs. Hazel Rosenheimer Woodroof, 68, died in her sleep Sunday night at her home in Kokomo R.R. 2. She had been ill for a year, and lived formerly at 1930 N. Morrison St.
She was born near Center Oct. 01, 1898, the daughter of Julius and Carolyn (Wyrick) Rosenheimer. Her first marriage was to Alvey Turner. She was married again Nov. 11, 1924 to Charles Earl Woodroof, who died Jan. 31, 1958.
She was a member of the Christian Church, and attended the Upper Deer Creek Congregational Church. She also was a member of the Young America Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Fred E. Turner, 1930 N. Morrison St., and Earl J. Woodroof, Kokomo R.R. 2; three brothers, George Rosenheimer of South Bend, John of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Jack of Greentown; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Jarvis of Marion and Mrs. Trella Garr May of Siloam Springs, Ark., seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. One brother and one sister are deceased.
The Rev. Everett Nixon will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home in Galveston. Friends may call there after noon Tuesday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. ---------------- Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard Co., Indiana ------------
