He was the son of: -Jan Rossignol and of Michelle Nicole, married 12-5-1732 at Sougéal, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. They lived in the hamlet of Le Poirier in Sougéal. Jan was the son of: -Alexis Rossignol and of Perrine Taslé, married 27-7-1710 at Sougéal. Alexis settled in the hamlet of Le Poirier. He was the son of: -Julien Rossignol and of Jacquette Dori, married before 1683, they lived in the hamlet of La Morissais in the parish of Antrain.
