well, i guess i will add the description of ours to the mix.If anyone has a duplicate, or knows anything, please let me know.I do not know the title, but here is a description:
The actual etching is mounted on another paper, then matted and framed. On the paper under the mat, there is some writing. The top left corner says (in very small print) "published by Fishel, Adler + Schwartz, New York."on the bottom left there is a pencil? drawing of a house and a tree. The bottom right corner says "Etched by Ernest C. Rost" in cursive. The wooden frame appears to be rather old (or maybe it just had a hard life)Someone has added a plastic hanger to the back, but it appeard to be a later addition. The glass on the front is hand-poured.Ok - now for the actual picture: In the foregroundthere is a road (dirt?) curving between two small ponds. It leads to several buildings - one distinct one to the right, and 3 or 4 to the left - it is hard to tell.there are 3 trees behind on the left, and one on the right. In the background (right) you can see some sailboats and some sea gulls. In the bottom left corner of the actual picture, the initials"ECR" are printed, not like the cursive writing at all.
