hello
i will compile the information i have on stanley for you over the next couple of weeks ...my g grandfather was known localy as " Y bardd cocos" meaning the cockle poet, he made his living on the menai straights in north wales collecting cockles and was apparenly quite a character i only vaguley remember him and my g grandmother he was about 4ft 8" and she was a typical gran big and chunky and about 5ft 8" always had an apron on and the house always smelt of cooking either bread or cakes especially gooseberry pie he was 99 when he died and was writting his poetry up to the day befor he died his name was Ebanezar Williams "Eban" for short do you know where your grandfather was from originally???
