My jR married Martha Keeny April 3, 1833 in Cass County, MO so yes he imigrated sometime before that.We have his birth year as approx 1800 and no idea how that came to be except as a guess by Gloria Roylance Zerr doing research. He was on property in Clinton, Missouri in 1849 and I have copy of transaction as well as copy of marriage license. In those days they didn't do an application for marriage license I am told by Historical Society... thats where the best info would/could be. Marriage license didnt tell me anything I didn't have and cost $30. whew :-(
The property is still raw land and I strongly feel there is a gravesite on it.Seems I will have to go there to look. That would be awesome anyway. Being a great grandmother (youngish one) myself I feel nostalgic about this.
I am really curious about the age difference in James/1841 and William/1849 with it being several years. That didn't happen often.
Thanks for trying to help, I really appreciate it.
