During a family vacation to Southwestern Pennsylvania I was going through some old boxes in my grandfather's house and stumbled across hundreds of really old family photos. My grandfather John Lewis Rulli was the youngest of 12 children. His parents, Joseph and Pasqualina Rulli came from Nusco in the Avellino province about 40km North West of Naples, or so I'm told. Among the pictures are a plethra of wedding photos, WWII photos, and even a panoramic family reunion portrait from 1924. I also have copies of certified documents from Nusco that trace our name back to its original "Rullo". The dates go back as far as the early 1800's and I don't know why I find it so interesting but I do. Unfortunately I do not have a scanner capable of scanning the family reunion picture all at once because it's so long but I intend to take it in so I can share it with all of you fine people. If anybody has a connection to the Nusco Rulli's and has any info, documents, or pictures it would be greatly appreciated. For copies of the pictures and documents I have, feel free to email me and I'll do my best to get them to you as soon as possible.
