Have reason to believe this family might have lived in Iowa before living in IL. Its also possible that is the enumerator's abreviation for Indiana. About 1855 they have removed to Anderson Co., KS and were one of the first white settlers on the South Pottowatomi in Anderson Co. Any help with more information on this family would be greatly appreciated.
