My great grandfather was called Edward (AKA Teddy or Uncle Teddy) Rushforth.

He played Timpani for the Royal Philamonic Orchestra and was head of percussion for George V's coronation.
He was married to (or at least they were a couple) Emily who was a very successful ballerina in the late 1800's.
They lived in London during the war.
