I was delighted to find a 1997 interview with HELEN Rust (b 1914 in India) from her homein Ceylon to where her brother CECIL T Rust had come from UK in 1925.She was then aged 82. He'd been studying in Edinburgh to be a doctor like his grandfather but became a tea planter andthe chairman of the Times of Ceylon Ltd.until his death in Westminster hospital London on 19 Jan 1960. Her sister VIOLET died in 1974 but HELEN continued to live in Ceylon. They lost a sister to diptheria in infancy. The father of these 4 was JULIANbrother of Dr MONTAGUE Rust and from the article it seems that both brothers died in South Africa .Julian's wife died in Ceylon where CECIL had made a home for her.She was a beautifulIrish woman Elizabeth Anne NELLIGAN the subject of many of his portraits. To see the entire atricle in the Sunday Times see http://www.sundaytimes.lk/970330/plusm.htmlhttp://www.sundaytimes.lk/970330/plusm.html None of Julian's family married but his brother Montague had a son Stanley in 1906 in Fife, Scotland. He married a Jennie Hutcheon . Any more information gratefully received.
