SADDLER'S IN FANNIN COUNTY, TEXAS
Desparately need help in sorting out the relationships of the Saddler's in Fannin County, Texas.Felix G. Sadler received two patents in Fannin County, Texas. One for 1315 acres on 18 Feb 1845 and one for 161.19 acres on 19 Nov 1845. This land was located on Bois de Arc creek next to the property of William Onstott in the Lannius, Texas area. By Feb 1849 Felix was deceased. His probate records are lengthy and his wife Catharine received a portion of his land.No children are named. It is not clear to me how the rest of his land is divided, but it apears that it was challenged by a James Sadler, perhaps on the behalf of an Elizabeth Sadler.Though she was deceased before the estate was settled. However in 1854 William S. Onstott and wife Martha Ann Sadler, and Henry Sadler and wife Maria, sold land that was part of the headright of Felix G. Sadler.Additionally, a Larkin F. Saddler was killed 27 Dec 1852 and his estate paid for the prosecution of William White for the killing Larkin. On 2 March 1853 Martha Ann Sadler had married William S. Onstott.Does anyone know or can sort out the relationships between Felix G. Sadler, Martha Ann Sadler, Larkin F. Sadler, Henry Sadler, James Sadler, Elizabeth Sadler?Any help will be greatly appreciated.
