Several years ago we felt very deeply that we had located at a catholic church yard in and about the area you describesome of the names listed in my genealogy.however, we have listed a Don Juan de Salazar who was to my knowledge a 2nd son to a Conte or Baron de Salazar.mY Capitan Juan de SalazarmarriedA countess Margarita de Frenoila in the area around auvergne (france??)Frenoila is french or italian---their sona Baron de St Just Hector Enrique married Barroness Ellena de Chastelux(french)thier child2nd baron de St juste marriedLuisa de La Croix(french)----- who then had our ancestor who becamethe conquestidor who accompaniedCoronado & Onate. BecauseOf the french names I would say that you are one of my missing links---town of salazar--Pyrennes---etc.But theheraldry shield I have does not contain any stars that I can distuingish... the poor quality picture appears to be small squares or rectangles...
