does anyone have any information on the cornelius sale family. i am aware that the Cornelius the first was born in england (where?) in 1680. he then moved to the US (at what time...?) where his families set up mills in North carolina and Virginia. He had a son William in 1700, William had a son William in 1720 who had a son Cornelius Sale Sr in 1748. his last will and testement can be found at http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/1132/nti09493.htmhttp://www.geocities.com/Heartland/1132/nti09493.htm . Cornelius Sr then had Cornelius Jr in 1776. i know that i am a direct decendent to Cornelius Jr, but i do not have the names between... He moved to Sale city around the 1800's i believe where he had his children. My great grandfather was born in sale city and moved to my present day home in 1910 where my grandfather was brought at age 9 or so. And then my father was born. if ANYoNE can help me track down the missing blanks i would be greatly obliged! I know that these Sales were mill owners which was why Sale City was founded and why my great grandfather moved, to establish a mill where i live now (or at least close). i am also VERY curious of any revolutionary war or civil war affiliations with this family. any help would be great! thank you very much!
