Having moved from Horley, Surrey, about 1800, members of this Sanders Family farmed land, until c.1900, in the villages of Leigh and nearby Newdigate, both of which are located in the Dorking area of the County of Surrey. Thereafter, descendants of this family lived and worked in and around Newdigate until c. 1960.
Although I have no genealogical connection with this Sanders Family, I have gathered considerable information about them while researching the history of an ancient farm.
I would therefore be happy to pass on this information to anyone who believes they may be connected. Please reply on this Forum and by e-mail, if you so wish.
