Obituary:
Mrs. Sandlin Dies Here Tuesday
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Louisa E. Sandlin, 92, who passed away here early Tuesday.
Rev. Byron Bryant, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Stamford, officiated, and interment was in Mount Olive Cemetery with Springer Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Sandlin was born April 14, 1859 in Illinois and came to Stonewall County in 1889. She was the wife of the late W.M. Sandlin, who died in 1923.
She is survived by four sons, Jim of Aspermont, Harold of Girard, E.W. of Seminole and Kim of Arvin, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Mellia Hester of Lamesa, Mrs. Lizzie Williams of Tahoka, Mrs. Willie Mitchell of Lamesa and Mrs. Annie Stone of Fresno, Calif.
