Some research I have done indicates that Santillans lived
in the region of Toledo, Spain before Toledo became a city.
There was a Bernabe Santillan who accompanied a conquistador
in Mexico and one Santillan who died in the Inquisition. This is on record under "Hispanic Jews" on MSN search engine
There is also a Santillan Coat of Arms which is described but no picture is shown. Has anyone else found this info??
