Antoine Sauve b. April 11, 1714 in Pointe Claire, Quebec, son of Pierre Sauve dit Laplante (b. 1652, Libourne, Guyenne, Bordeaux, France - d. May 4, 1737 in Montreal, Quebec) and his wife Marie-Renee Michel (b. June 18, 1677 in Montreal, Quebec,buried November 19, 1750).They married February 27, 1696 in Lachine, Quebec.
Pierre was the son of Francois Sauve and Marie Malleret. He was a soldier in the Company de Dumesny and later worked as a labourer.
Marie-Renee was the daughter of Jean Michel (Michaud)who died in the Lachine massacre, and his wife Marie Marchessault.
