I have been looking forther into this as posted on your site:
1881 Census Tilbury West, Essex, Ontario. Marguerite Chousereau is Louise's mother. Donus is probably the son of Virginie for the following reasons. He was 5 in 1881 on the census; too young to be Marie Louise`s son - Louise would have been 47 or 48 when he was born At Virginie's obituary she was said to be survived by her son Dennis Sauve.
I question how Dennis could be Virginie's son
in 1881 Denis is listed as 5, Virginie was already married to James Galerneau she married James in May 1876. So either she was already pregnant when she married, or she got married right after. And being that James and Virginia's first child was born in March or 1877 I do not see the likely hood of the timing.
It was more likely that Denis was a late child, of his mothers and was then raised later by his sister.
