My gtgtgrandmother, Martha Crowther was bapt 25.10.1809 (as Mary Crowther) St Andrew Holborn, and her brother William Crowther bapt same date, children of Edward Crowther and Mary Elizabeth Crowther. Martha married Dennis Savage in 1825. Martha and William inherited, in 1842, from the estate of their aunt, Mary Tyler, including leasehold interest in public house (inn/pub)called the Three Compasses in Little Marylebone Street London and accounts held at Bank of England.William had two surviving children Charles James Crowther and Cordelia Crowther. Happy to share information with anyone researching this particular Savage line. Martha and Dennis Savage and William Crowther lived in Field Lane Holborn,in 1830's, within the notorious "Rookeries" made infamous by Charles Dickens in Oliver Twist. Their children were Owen Savage 1825 died 1829 Charlotte 1830, died in childhood, Mary Ann Savage bapt 1827, Martha 1829(later married Henry Edwards, a chemist) and Edward bn 1831 bapt 1836 who married Leah Rebecca Gunner.
