Greetings, Daniel ...
Your reference to a ''Seneca 'Sayles'' (b. 1823) of Mahaska, County, Iowa, caught my attention.
We, also, had Sayles connections in Mahaska, County, Iowa.I wonder if there could be a connection between the two families?
I would be delighted to locate an obituary (or, any other information that may be available) for Rowena SAYLES Voorus, b. abt. 1831. NY; and, died in Mahaska Co. in about 1918.Rowena Sayles married Peter Voorus.(Information attached below).
KEZIE VOORUS (daughter of Rowena SAYLES & Peter Voorus), also died in Oskaloosa, Mahaska County, Iowa, on April 10, 1922.Her obituary is attached below.
Would you possibly have any suggestions regarding how to find additional information about Rowena (Sayles) Voorus, who died in Mahaska, County?
