I posted not to long back.. but I have more info to add so maybe I can get some answers by those that may have been from Chicago/ Cicero Illinois area..
My Grandfather Harold Loui George Schultz owned a Bar in Cicero called the Bridgeview Inn on West Ogden Ave, he later closed the bar and turned it into a Garage as he was a Mechanic. to add he was a member of the Masonic Order in Cicero, and his home on Austin Blvd was a Polling Place. He married my Grandmother Milada (Mildred) Marie Otcovsky, and her family too is nearly impossible for me to track...However she was a member of the Betsy Ross Lodge, CSA Fraternal Life, and Sokol.
Harolds Father's name was Edward H. Schultz. DOB- July 3rd 1877, DOD- Sept.10th 1941 Edward married Caroline (Lena) Bremer, DOB- Sept. 8th 1881, DOD- Mar. 29th 1948. They had 4 children, Arthur-1904-1910?, Mildred C.1906-1991- my Grandfather Harold-1909-1969, and Edward A.1912-1977
Also they had a Lake house on Poplar Rd. in Indiana at Fish Lake.. so there may be some family ties to Indiana. I haven't found anything directly linking my GGfather yet to brothers and sisters.. I really wish I could find that Birth Record.. but I haven't yet..
I have no birth records at all on my GGrandparents.. however Census Records they stated that their Parents were from Germany and they were both born in Illinois
Now my GGrandmother Lena Bremer had a Sister named Johanna, Emma, and Martha and Brother Fred.
