I was born in Bellwood, Alabama, in what I consider "home land." I have been married and divorced and decided to grab my name back. It is a beautiful name, SCONIERS. Grandma Mollie was also my great grandmother. Her son, Clayton was my grandfather, Alene Sconiers Jennings is my mother.I grew up in Panama City, FL, around the corner from your grand father, and my Uncle Ruben.I knew him very well. I last saw him in 1990, a few years before he passed.
I saw your father, and Cousin Martha about 5 years ago in San Diego, CA. I went to San Deigo for work, and your Aunt Martha took me to her house for dinner and your father, William came over.
I knew your grandmother, Aunt Avie also. I went to the family union in Fresno last month. It was lovely. I saw your name on the announcement, but did not see you. My ex-husband also attended. He is looking up censor reports on the Sconierses. He found some of your other grand fathers, Luke Sconiers and Soloman Sconiers who was 108 years old in 1910. Seems that Billie Alexander was the next of kin. We haven't pin-pointed him yet.
Let me tell you, those censor reports are the boss! According to what we have found, that family tree needs some revisions. It seem that someone did a very good job putting it together. But, now we have a little more information. If someone wants to discuss this with me, you may write it here or call me. 916-541-9082. Checking out, love you all. Linda Joyce.
