Hi Sarah.
Thanks you so much for contacting me. Who was your Grandmother? I thought I knew of most of the family. As you are in Hampshire, my Auntie Bess seems to be the most appropriate. Actually it's a bit strange because Auntie Bess was my Gt.Aunt and I am a generation on again from you probably, despite my being no doubt a lot older. Derek, John, Ian and Gill being her children.
As far as I can tell Jane never married, I will ask my Mother today to see if she knows anything more. My Mother was Faith's daughter, Bess's sister, and she was brought up with the family at Combe St.Nicholas. I was also born in Chard.
I will keep in touch and am delighted to hear from another family member. If you are interested I have got back to around 1785.
Margaret.
