Hi Sharon, Yes, it sounds like we're researching the same family. I know that Alice had a sister Experience (plus an Elizabeth, and others); Alice named one of her daughters Experience (Smith; she married Thomas Mull in 1855). I don't know too much about the Sculls, but somehow I do have Benjamin as her father.I didn't put down John and Mary Scull as his parents because I didn't have any proof. All I've found is John's Will (1745), which lists a Benjamin as one of his sons and a wife named Mary. But this could have been another Benjamin.
I do have written down that Elizabeth was buried in the Steelman Family Burial Grounds in Estelville.I walked that plot many years ago- but I don't remember if there was a stone for her showing dates. I think I found Elizabeth and Joseph's marriage cert at the Gloucester Co Historical Society. Some time this week, I'll pull all my Scull info from the file cabinet and see what I really do have.
Are you in NJ?I'm in Burlington County, not far from Atlantic and Gloucester Counties.
