George Scully, husband of Harriet Senyard, who lived in St. Louis, MO, was both a physician and a veterinarian.Although he is not in my Scully line, I have researched this line.Harriet was buried from either St. Elizabeth or St. Joseph Catholic Church, in East St. Louis, IL, across the river from St. Louis. I believe it was from St. Elizabeth and available on-line.
Tonight I came across information on one of their daughters, Jane M. Scully. She married John A. Burke, son of Thomas and Bridget (McEnery) of Ireland, on 22 June 1908 in Cleveland, Ohio. John was an attorney in St. Louis. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Christian Brother's College in St. Louis and attended Washington University in St. Louis and won his LLB degree in 1905.He practiced law in St. Louis, MO and belonged to the St. Louis Bar Assn., the Missouir State Bar Assn.,and the Law Library Assn. of St. Louis. He and his wife were members of Notre Dame Catholic Church at Wellston, MO.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The John A. Burke family resided at 5950 N. Market Street in St. Louis, MO.
