Seabaugh was originally Seebach from Thuringia, Germany
This is from the book Seebach to Seabaugh by Otto Seabaugh
The lion brandishing a partisan(like a spear), is a kind of halbred favored by the famous Swiss mercenary troops when they were professional soldiers par excellence.
German heraldry normally has six point stars as compared to five point stars in English heraldry.
The wavy bends represent streams, alluding to the family name Seebach, mean lake-brook.
The coat of arms is based on the Thuringian nobility family name of Seebach.
If you live near Cape Girardeau or Jackson, MO.This book should be there.
