I am distantly connected to your Seaborn's more than likely. I am trying to get more info on them also to try and get a back door on my Taylor Family.
I have Taylor's married to Taylor's and Jones's so it is crazy!!
My Gr Grandmother Catherine (Kate) Cora Taylor is the daughter of Lenard (leonard) Taylor and Rebecca Loveless (Lovelace). Her sister, Susanna, married Albert Curtain, her sister, Sophia (Sophy)married William Seaborn(Seabourne) and her sister, Lucy Ann married Albert Wells. Kate's Husband John P. Taylor had several brother's that married her other sisters. These Taylor, Wells and Seaborn families are from the Nottingham and Marlboro area of Prince Georges County. I found your JR and Susan (Susanna) on the PG Co Census 1870 for Nottingham:
J R 48 M W Farmer Susan 22 FW Keeping house Mary J 19FW "" Joseph G 17 MW Robert 12 MW Joseph A 8 MW
I am not sure if the Joseph G is correct..it was hard to read the initial. But there was definitely 2 Joseph's. I see that Luna Cordelia's mother was Elizabeth Ann Wells and I am guessing she is related to the PG Wells also. There is actually an area in Marlboro, PG Co. named Wells corner..this is where my Leonard Taylor family lived as well as Albert Wells family that married Lucy Ann Taylor. Nottingham,Croom and Marlboro sort of run into each other anyway and at the time was mostly farmland, although Marlboro is the county seat for PG County. Let me know if you have found anything else on the Seaborn's..I appreciate it..
