Hi Julie,
Great to find another Seabrook researcher. Saw your posting on the Seabrook forum. I have hit the wall with my digging around so here is my Seabrook connection.
One of my ancestor wasSarah (nee WHITE) wife of Henry SEABROOK.
Henry (abt 21) bachelor, of this Parish m. by Banns, Sarah White (abt 23)spinster, of this Parish, on 5 Oct 1828 at Saint George The Martyr, Southwark, Surrey, England, Curate was John Heaton. Witnesses were Willian Nye andSusanna Bown (or Boewn). Neither Henry or Sarah signed with a X.²
They, with possibly 2 children, emmigrated to Tasmania in 1832 on the'Thomas Laurie' - along with Sarah's brother Thomas, his wife Sarah (nee Coaton) and their 2 children.
Both families became quite successful in the building industry in Tasmania & both produced large families.

Happy to exchange notes if you feel there is a link. I thank you in anticipation.
