I am a great grandson of Lewis & Martha Seabrook. Definitely no 'e' on Seabrook, Although I have noticed that the 'Gibson Craig' passenger list has been interpreted that way. Lewis was a cab proprieter (electoral roll) and? coach builder (family story). He originally lived in a suburb of Melbourne called Sandridge (now Port Melbourne). Two of Lewis' & Martha's sons James and William (my grandfather) decided to become pioneer farmers (square mile) in a district called Strzelecki between Korumburra and Warragul (Gippsland, Victoria). The catch is they were only in their teens at the time. The eldest son, Lewis initally went with them but returned to Melbourne as he apparently didn't care for the remoteness. The farms are still held in there respective descendants hands. All of our Seabrook's (i.e. male lineage) are descended from Lewis & Martha and subsequently William.
