Dear Kevin,

I think we have spoken before. I too am researching a Jane seagrave.

I have just come back from the LDS centre where I have a huge reel that I am wading through. Gearing rang a bell and was on part of the reel but didn't write it down ....sorry...wasn't until I got home and searched emails I realised why.

But have some information...plus
Firstly the LDS reel number is FHL British Film 918264
which takes in Baptisms 1813-1876 plus marriages 1813-1838,
BMD 1560-1775, Marriages 1754-1812 BMD 1764-1812. A gearing was on there. wish I had written it down.

Anyway these are the Seagraves I found today, going back twice more this week.

Baptism Isaac son of James and Catherine Seagrave 4/2/1821
Abode....Arundel, Sussex.(labourer)

Baptism Catherine Daughter of James and Catherine as above
25/5/1823

they are your James and Catherine I think.

also Rebecca daughter of george and Frances Seagrave Baptism 6/7/1834 Abode Arundel, Labourer

William son of George and Frances Seagrave ( as above) 18/2/1838

I think my jane maybe??? daughter of James and Catherine, but that is on a part of the reel I have yet to look at. Keep you posted.

There is also another researcher links to Isaac. Can I give her your email address if I link them up when researching.

Regards Pam (Australia)
