In response to the request for information on John Seaver his mother Lena M Seaver and father Michael N Seaver were my grandmother's grandparents.Anna Seaver Ruprecht Cummings was my greatgrandmother.Marion Alice Ruprecht Nickerson Walker was my granddmother.I have a copy of Lena's death notice that my grandmother saved.Lena died at the age of 90 on March 3, 1959. The following information is taken from that notice: "In Hanson, March 3-Mrs. Lena M. (Casper) Seaver, 90, of 17 Castle Street, died last Thursday.She was the widow of Michael N. Seaver.She was born in Alsace-Lorraine Sept. 26, 1869 daughter of Martin and Elizabeth (Hartman) Casper.She came to this country as a young girl and was well known in North Plymouth. Survivors include five daughters.Mrs. Harry (Anna) Cummings of Plymouth, Mrs. Anthony S. P. (Alice) Goulart of Manomet, Mrs. Thomas (Cecila) Kingston of Dorchester, Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Freyermuth of Manomet, and Mrs. Josephine Sherman of Brockton:four sons, Max, John, Michael and Albert Seaver all of Plymouth, Manomet and Carver: 17 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Madeleine Kritzmacher, Central Falls, R.I.; one brother Nicholas Casper of Clearwater, Fla. The funeral took place Tuesday from the Peck-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court street, followed by a Solemn High Mass of Requiem at St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m.The Rev.J. Leo Boyle was celebrant; the Rev. John A. MacLaughlin, deacon; and the Rev. Richard F. Norton was subdeacon."
