When Christopher Frank Seaver married as his second wife Eliza F. Jennings on 12 November 1892 at Woonsockett RI, he stated that his parents were "Frank and Margaret Seaver". Christopher and his wife and children lived in New York City in 1870 (he was a "Moulder"). He says he was born in NY. He had registered for the draft there in the Civil War in 1863, but I do not believe that he ever served. He is listed on the New York City business directories each year from 1871 through 1877. By 1880 he (a "Moulder" born in NY) and his family had relocated to Woonsockett where of course he also appears on the 1900 census. He is buried at St. Charles Cemetery, which is just over the Massachusetts line.
