Good chance of a connection. I am indirectly related through marriage, but have what I thought was a William (but could be a Wilmer) Seifried married to an Anna Maria Wiedmann(1868-1939) who had 4 children we know of, one of which was Alfred. My link is via Anna Maria Wiedmann who came to the US @1880-83 with her father, from Pforzheim, Baden-Wurttemburg, Germany. Her family settled in Newark, NJ - think she was a nurse.
