Lanora Seigler Johnson, 94, of Farmersville died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Hurst’s Fielder-Baker Funeral Home chapel with Elder Owen Rushing and Elder Lowell McCain officiating. Interment is in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.Mrs. Johnson was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Joy in Clay County, Texas; the daughter of William Walker and Mary Myrtle Webb Seigler. She was married to Lee Johnson on Jan. 6, 1940, in McKinney.She was a homemaker and a member of Farmersville Primitive Baptist Church.Surviving are daughters, Sandra McClain and Betty Sergent, both of Farmersville; sons, Wayne Johnson of Pittsburg, Texas and Vernon Johnson of Farmersville; daughter-in-law, Doris Johnson of Farmersville; sisters, Marie Reames of Farmersville, Louise Blakemore of Merit and Ernestine Wilson of Kilgore; brother, James Seigler of Greenville; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Cecil Johnson; and two grandchildren, Gary Coplen and Milton Walls.
