I understand this is an old post of yours, but I just came across it today. My grandfather was Robert Semple, married to Agnes, her birthday is the same as mine, Aug 11. Their oldest daughter Alice was followed by a set of twins, Constance and Roy. My grandfather immigrated to Canada in July of '53. My mother was Constance and we followed him to Canada in 1957. My grandfather was recruited by the Canadian Vickers Shipbuilding Co. in Montreal. He passed away late '68/early '69. My grandmother Agnes survived him by 10 or so years. Funny enough she always liked the name Nancy lol. So she changed her name to Nancy during those last 10 years. Alice had four children and Roy had 3 or 4 children and my mother Constance had three. We are the only remnant of that family to remain in Canada. I would certainly be interested in knowing about my grandmother's family if you could share with me some of that history.
