Can anyone explain to me why some info states Joseph, son of Milton Sewell was buried in Pulaski County and some other info states he died "unknown"?
After years of searching to determine my ancestor, Joseph Sewell, b. 1844 (he always said Jessamine County), fought in Civil War, Kentucky units A and B, signed up in Louisville, mustered out in Franklin TN, m. Martha Angeline Sewell of that area, died and is buried in Sweetwater Tn . . . I cannot find him in Kentucky.
Is it possible he is the son who never returned home after the war and marrying a woman from eastern Tennessee?
