Douglas, I had not heard this information before. It is very interesting.Where can I find it?Actually I got my information about the death from the "HALL forum", and some information which my elderly Aunt had. It told about Doctor John Hall, a son-in-law careing for Wm Shakespeare, and documenting the desease with the medication etc. then when the records were found some of them were destroyed to save face or something like that.... Funny how things get screwed around and I probably did my share to do so. I did not know that Wm had any living grand children ever old enough pass down the name. They didn't teach that in school that I can remember or did I find it in the ensaclopedia. My ancestry comes down through, John Shakespeare, Stephen, William, John L., Elizabeth Shakespeare md Henry Basset HALL, Then down to me on the HALL's.
