SOUTH PARIS - Bernice S. Blossom, 91, of South Paris died Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Market Square Health Care Center. She was born in South Paris on October 10, 1913, the daughter of Edward and Rubira Wiley Sharon. She graduated from Norway High School and had been employed by Pratt Whitney, building motors for jets. She was a member of the Norway Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting and music. She married Ken Blossom on September 17, 1932; he passed away on November 23, 1991. She is survived by two sons, Ken Blossom, Jr. and his wife Claire of Punta Gorda, FL and Robert Blossom and his wife Eleanor of Homosassa, FL; a daughter, Margaret Koenig of Orange City, FL; a daughter-in-law, June Blossom of East Haven, CT; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Rubira Crockett of Washington state. She was predeceased by a son, Lawrence; a sister, Rosina Denning; a grandson and two great-grandsons. A Memorial service will be held at a later time and date to be announced at the Norway Baptist Church. Remembrance donations can be made to the Norway Baptist Church, Cottage St., Norway, ME 04268.
