Jenkinjones-- Ramona Shatley Toth, 73 of Box 173 Jenkinjones, dies Wednesday 8 March in a Gary Nursing Home.
Born on Oct. 8, 1932 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late Lemuel A. and Mary Mageline Goodman Shatley. She had lived in Jenkinjones all of her life and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Steve Toth and four brothers, Clyde, James, Donald, and David Shatley preceded her in death.
Survivors: Sons: Donald E. Toth of Jenkinjones, John W. Toth of Jenkinjones, Steve E. Toth and wife Margaret of Hemphill, Arthur A. Toth and wife Nancy of Bluewell; daughter: Rose Marie Fullen of Gary; son-in-law: Robert Fullen of Welch; brothers: Arnold Shatley of Hanover, Ind. and Gordon Shatley of Fayetteville, N.C.; sisters: Rena Shatley Cates of Lincoln, Ala., Barbara Shatley Hunter of Hopes Mill, N.C., Anna Mae Shatley Wilkins of Fayetteville, N.C.; grandchildren: Matthew Fullen, Amanda Toth, Amber Sizemore, Shauna Toth, Bobbie Lilly, Austin Toth, Stevie Toth, Sara Toth, Adam Toth, and T.J. Mills; great-grandchildren: A.J. Toth, Libby Toth, C.J. Toth, and Emily Toth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Michael Brooks officiating. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
Friends may call today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
