Migration Question

Jacob Shawver b. 1824 in Indiana, I have no proof but have been told his father was from PA. Jacob moved from IL to IA, (Pleasantville, Marion, Iowa, USA) - DNA test has just been completed.
I have submitted my Shawver Y-DNA on ysearch.org and Ancestry.com. my oldest ancestor that I can trace is Jacob Shawver b. 1824 in Indiana, married Mary M. Carson in Sangamon Illinois 01 Dec 1853. Moved to Pleasantville, Iowa and fought in the Civil War in the 33rd Iowa Inf. Co. A. Died of disease 1864 in Arkansas and buried in the National Cemetary in Little Rock. I am trying to connect with other Shawver lines, but have run out of hard factual connections.
Since I have run into a dead end finding documentation that connects Jacob any further back in time, I am looking for other shawvers to compare my Y-DNA to. The Ancestry.com DNA test involved swabbing the inside of my cheek and was reasonably priced and the results were returned very quickly.
Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any information that can help me connect to my Jacob or matching DNA.
