I came across your messages on the Shilladay's of the Drumlee/Annahunshigo area.
Last May, I visited the area with my father of the Boston, Massachusetts and my father's first cousin, Herbie Edgar of Belfast. We drove up a narrow road in Ardaghy, up from the northwest side of Loch Island Reavy near Kilcoo in County Down to visit the abandoned homestead of the Camlin's my great grandfather's brother. My cousin Herbie Edgar visited his cousins there in the 1920's on school holiday, and he remembers playing with the Shilladay children across the road. The Shilladay house is now abandoned, but standing.
My cousin Herbie would have more details (names and stories) and I can pinpoint the location if you are interested.I should mention that we saw numerous Shilladay's in various graveyards in the area, including the Drumlee Pres. Church, which is just down the Annihunshigo Road from the homesteads. My cousin says the families used to walk to Drumlee church on Sundays.
I don't know which branch of the Shilladays these are, but I can testify it is a moving experience to come across your ancestor's home.
