Hattie was about 4'10" and as round as she was tall.Was this visit about
1961 or 1962 in the summer?My grandmother lived in Oklahoma and I seldom
saw her.I do remember one visit when she came to KC.Mother was able to
scrape together the money to buy a nice melon, which my grandma loved.I was
a little show-off and showed her how I was working on my back bends.I think
she took the Super Chief train.The visit was short, but it was sweet.
