I can trace the lineage through their daughter, Eleanor (Ellen) Hackley Doniphan Stubblefield.Thomas Stubblefield was her second husband, she later married a lawyer named Underwood and had additional children.
Nancy Slaughter Stubblefield was born in 1754.She married CAPTAIN?MAJOR Gabriel E. Long (b. 23 Feb 1751 in Culpeper Co., VA)~1780/81. Gabriel died 3 Feb 1827 and was buried in either Culpeper Co., VA or Christian County, KY.Nancy died after 1788 in Stubblefield, VA.
Gabriel and Nancy's son, Thomas Stubblefield Long married three times, but I am unsure which wife was Susan's mother since several birthdates have been published for Susan's birth.
I believe that most likely her mother was Lucinda (Lucy) Brown Slaughter Long who was Thomas' third wife, widow of his half-brother Gabriel Long b. 1784.
Thomas first married Bathsheba Moxley, a teen aged girl with whom he fathered 3 children.Next he married Nancy Shipp b. 1774 in Culpeper Co., VA, and thirdly, Lucy.
Susan Stubblefield Long md. William Henry Harrison West, son of Claiborne Dandridge West of Buckingham Co., VA. They had a son, Henry Claiborne West who married Miildre Loving.Their daughter,
