In the Vol. 97, No. 1 (Spring 1995) issue of the "Journal of the Lancaster County (PA) Historical Society, "A Genealogy of Martin Shreiner, Clockmaker, and His Descendants" that I wrote (with much input from Arlan D. Siegrist) was published. It was intended to have been included with my article "Martin Shreiner: From Clocks to Fire Engines" that was published in the Winter issue, Vo. 96, No. 4 but there was not enough space so it was held over.We tried to bring the Martin Shreiner line down from him (d. 1866 at 97 years) to the present. Even with its length of 30 pages, I am sure we missed some of Martin's descendants.I have looked and don't find any candidates for your Henry and Catherine Shreiner with a daughter Elizabeth. Although many Shreiners here were Lutheran, you still might try the Mennonite Historical Society of Lancaster Co. 2215 Millstream Rd., Lancaster, PA17602 (717) 393-9745.
