I am attempting to determine how Squire Shults connects to the Baze family.Squire is listed in the 1840 McNairy County, TN census. Is it possible he is a brother to Mary Shults?I next find Squire listed in the 1850 McDonald Co., MO census, as being 44 yrs.,b. KY.In the same household are Malinda, 39 yrs., b. TN; James J. (farmer), 21 yrs., b. TN; John C., 19 yrs., b. TN; Nancy J., 17 yrs., b. KY; David C., 14 yrs., b. TN; Jesse G., 12 yrs., b. TN; Jacob A., 10 yrs., b. TN; Wm. P., 8 yrs., b. TN; and Thos. W., 6 yrs., b. TN
Listed in one of my books, "Missouri Piooneers, County and Genealogical Records, Vol. XXI, Barry County, Missouri, Abstracts of Wills, Bonds, & Adms., 1835-1855", the following:
