Actually I interested in you husband's family and also the Sias Family, but in his line. My sister-in-law is Alice Long Bliss and must be a cousin of your husband, as her aunt is also Amber Jean Nye.Many years ago, thirty to forty, I contacted Amber Jean and found that she was very forthcoming with her genealogical research.Consequently almost all of the ancestry I have for Alice comes from her. That was many years ago and I contacted her a few years ago to see if she, in the meantime, had filled in some of the missing information.Unfortunately she was not well and although was quite responsive and seemed to be pleased to hear from me, and although she said she would send me information, she was apparently to ill and she did die shortly thereafter. I'm hoping you might be able to help me with a few questions. 1-The furtherest back she had gone with the Hall line was William Haal I, m. 13 Apr 1695, Tryntje Claese Egmont. She did not have dates and places of birth and death for he and his wife, nor did she have their parentage.Did she eventually find that info 2-William Haal II married Anna Cowper (Cuiper).Did she eventually find dates and parentage for her? 3-Alexander Hall 1793-1864 married Annatje (Hannah) Smith.I have her dates, but nothing of her parentage.Do you know? Regarding the Sias in your husbands line. You may already know this but just in case. The Sias Genealogy says that Sylvenus Sias married Julia McFarlin. She was, if fact, Julia Farlin, b. 19 Jan 1812, MA (possibly Worcester County); m. Sylvenus Sias, 14 Jul 1831;k d. 7 May 1875, Pine River, Groatiot, MI.She was the daughter of John Farlin, b. 16 Sept. 1785, Rhode Island; m. 3 Feb. 1805, Coventry, Kent, RI,; d.19 Sep 1855, Raisen Twp., Lenawee Co, MI.His wife was Mary (Polly) Merithew, b. 7 May 1780, RI,; D. 21 Apr 1864, Raisen Twp. Lenawee, MI. The source for this information is the Farlin/West Bible owned by Howard W. West (jr.) of Marysville, Washington and fromvarious census records.I obtained this infor by contacting Don Mcalvey who I found on the Sias family Genealogy forum.
I hope that you will be able to help me, but even if not, please let me know that you've received this.I notice you last message to genform was in 2000.Hope your address hasn't changed. Lane email@example.com
